Bereshit Tools pottery uses an ancient Japanese technique of burning the pieces in an “Engema” wood burner. The burning lasts three days and reaches a heat of 1300 degrees. The burning in flames creates warm and vibrant colorfulness, which exposes the material’s natural richness. The visit includes: touring the studio, acquaintance with the “Engema” wood burner, an explanation about the creation process and a visit to the gallery.

The site is dedicated to the three religious kibbutzim in the area. The ground floor of the museum presents photographs of the story of Kibbutz Sa’ad during the War of Independence. Access to the site is through the entrance road to Kibbutz Kfar Aza. The old security building of Kibbutz Saad was renovated and now serves as an active site with exhibitions and films telling the story of the battle for the area, emphasizing the story of the 3 religious kibbutz settlements in the Negev during the War of Independence. In addition, original telegrams are on view describing events from the war. The exhibition demonstrates the struggle of the warriors who were short of weapons, food and water and had to spend days and nights digging underground. An audio-visual is located on the second floor describing the atmosphere in Israel during the war, the part played by the 27 isolated towns in the South, which had only 1,000 people opposite 150,000 people in the Gaza Strip, the placing of the water pipe and the iniquities of the Palmach. The overlook from the roof uses viewing boards to show the city of Gaza, the Mediterranean sea, the electronic border system, enemy posts, our posts from the days of the War of Independence, the border passage near Nachal Oz, the outskirts of Ashkelon and the neighboring towns.

Adenium Nursery by Rina and Danny Mor Cultivation, training and sale of the adenium plant (desert rose) Adenium Obesum ("Desert Rose") Adenium is a desert flower of the oleander family, native to the deserts of the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula and East Africa. Due to its origin, it is resistant to heat and does not need much hydration, but it is susceptible to cold and excess water. In our country it blooms from spring to late summer. Ideally, it should be grown in a pot because, in winter, it should be moved to a place protected from rain and humidity. The root of the Adenium Obesum is bottle-shaped, which helps with the efficient storage of the little water the plant gets in the desert. Its large flowers are pink, crimson, red and white. In our nursery, you can learn about all growing stages, starting with the sowing, how the tender sprouts and seedlings are handled, watering and fertilizing, transferring seedlings from small to large pots, and how to root plant cuttings. Hadkalim Farm camping is open to visitors. There are various options for accommodations: guest rooms, a largeBedouin tent or personal tenting. The clean, fresh air of the Western Negev gives a sense of freedom with every breath, re-charging body and soul with energy. There are several tents of varying sizes (accommodating 12 / 30 / 35 persons). The Bedouin encampment can sleep families with children or groups of travelers. To provide that homey, pleasant feeling, it's always warm inside the tent. In wintertime - the tent also protects against rain and cold, wrapping campers withcozy warmth. In summer visitors can open the tent and gaze at the millions of stars twinkling in the magical desert night sky. The area offers routes along Nahal Gerer and the Western Negev. You may also enjoy many more activities, such as biking tours, a petting zoo, and an aviary. The camping site also serves as a venue for social events, outdoor productions, corporate retreats, fun days, and many diverse activities.
